Let's face it: there's never a bad time to get outside. Outdoor Recreation at Whitworth University offers a wide variety of adventurous opportunities throughout the school year. Our growing program offers hiking, backpacking, rock climbing, snowshoeing, skiing & snowboarding, mountaineering, ice climbing, and mountain biking. We seek to connect students with one another and the surrounding area through new and exciting ways of experiencing the great outdoors.

Gear rentals are available anytime the U-Rec is open, and the Whitworth Outdoors office is usually open 9-5 weekdays. You can find the recreation center's hours here.
